After four years of traveling non-stop, I am back in the San Francisco Bay Area. It feels good, though the itch to travel is not completely scratched yet. I will be jumping back on a plane to Italy again in September to teach a photography workshop in Puglia. As of right now there are three spots left, so click on the link above for more information.
Since I will be around for the summer, I want to organize regular photo walks around the Bay Area. They will likely be once a month in June, July, and August. The first walk will be on Saturday, June 1 in my favorite old haunt, San Francisco’s Chinatown. This neighborhood is dear to my heart as it was where I spent many hours over several years practicing and then teaching street photography workshops. The photo walks will be less formal than a workshop, but I promise to reveal some secrets about the neighborhood and techniques for making great images in this iconic neighborhood. I would love for you to join me. Details are below.
